Solenne San Jose decided she wanted to close her phone accountwith Bouygues Telecom. Sounds reasonable enough. Companies do generally like the bill to be settled before disconnection occurs. Also reasonable.
I would humbly suggest that
charging 11,721 thousand billion euros for the privilege is not reasonable.
For the record, this is 306 times the size of the entire planet's public debts. Had this debt been genuine, Solenne could have single-handedly ended the recession... ...but she couldn't. Like most of us, she didn't have that kind of money and besides, she hadn't used her phone enough to justify a bill quite that large.
After a rather long argument with the company, it was finally discovered that Bouygues Telecom had made a minor printing error. They settled on the somewhat more modest bill of €117.21.
