They've got to make it easier or F1 will fall into disrepute for potentially killing children.  :o >:D

Except in England Scott (nearly) We have to pay adult fares on buses and trains at 16 but we are still not adults until 18, some of us never are, I pride myself on still having the sense of humour of a 14 yo.  :DD

I think you meant to reply to John...

In Switzerland they let you drink at 16, but not drive until 18.  Better to get that binge drinking out of the way before you get the keys to a 2 ton piece of metal to go out and kill people.

Here in the States, you can join the military at 18 (17 with parental consent form) but you can't buy a drink until you're 21. Absolutely ridiculous!

Back to the thread...I thought the asphalt was a fix for the super bikes, but now I've read that the bikes are moving to Imola for 2015, and that it was a reaction to F1 driver concern, not the bikers, but the article John posted said it was FIM concerns that were being discussed.  So strange.

The Superbikes were at Imola this year Scott, I think the meeting with FIM was an effort to find ways to get WSBK or other motorcycling events on the calendar at Monza.

It appears that even after changing elements of the track Monza is still not able to negotiate a deal to get the Italian round of WSBK, so they have now changed tack in their PR and are saying F1 drivers have been asking for these changes anyway.   - God save us from spin.   :D

It's an awful change.  Van de Garde admitted in a BBC interview this afternoon that the Parabolica is now too easy.  I'm not impressed at all.  It wasn't a dangerous corner with the gravel being there.
