Hi Guys
There's a chance that I'll be going to the Canadian GP next year has anyone been there? If so any advice? Its our 40th wedding anniversary this year and we both want to tour Canada which has obviously has to be done in June.  :good:

I think PG went this year, but he hasn't been around the forum for a while.  Try PM'ing him.

Otherwise I'm no help.  Born in Montreal but have never made it back for a GP.

Thanks Scott, what's good to see in Montreal?

That's it I have taken the plunge and booked my ticket, I'm in stand 11 which is at the end of the pit straight so I hope to some of the action there, was it this year Massa was taken out there? It has been a tricky decision as there is no seating plans for any of the stands such as you would get in a theatre which I find surprising in todays technological age. My decision in the end was down to looking at clips on You Tube from different stands but without the seating plan its still a bit of an unknown.
I also have a pass for the playground in Beaconsfield.  :yahoo:

Fantastic Andy.  It's certainly on my bucket list.

As for the impossibility to buy specific tickets, I couldn't agree with you more.  I'm not sure why the resellers can't get their act together, but I suspect it is an apathy thing...they sell out anyway, so who cares?

I'm lucky as my wife is sympathetic to my need for speed so I go to the race and she goes shopping and sight seeing we have done France, Singapore and Melbourne like this and so far it works. Going to the races alone is not a problem as once there I find several thousand friends.  :good:
I think the only race I am not keen on is Brazil as the rumours of muggings and being wary of where you go seems too uncomfortable for me. Next on the list could be Japan or Malaysia.

Oh and you needn't worry Dare would adopt the sitting position in the lavatory just to avoid peeing on your suede shoes,  ;) you know what really old gents are like.  ::)

Seriously though I'm well jealous of your Canadian plans - so I hope it's a really wet race weekend.   :tease:

I'm disappointed John....I try to get you a free GP going as my
assistant and first thing you do is stick me in the toilet :o :swoon:
