With  Lotus receiving the Mercedes engine a move
there might be a good possibility.Hope this isn't the
end for Jen for John's sake

I'd always prefer a WDC to go out on their own terms, but with so many active WDC on the grid and young driver programmes pumping out younger and younger 'potential stars', there's a squeeze at the top, and Button loses the 'what have you done for me lately' sweepstakes, despite being the second most recent champion!

Really??  He's almost doubled Magnussen's points.  Not too shabby considering the lump Mclaren has given them this year.

If I was Ron, I would keep Button mainly for his experience, but also his ability to 'sell on Monday'.  Probably the best marketing asset Mclaren has had since Lewis left.  Alonso and Magnussen doing the meet and greet?  I doubt that.  |-( |-(
