Monza poised for continued F1 racing in 2016 and beyond

New Italian GP deal expected to be signed very soon.  :yahoo:

Seems once more Bernie's hard ball, ably assisted by stirred up negative public opinion, has raised the F1 take from another track. No wonder everyone with a monetary stake in F1 wants him to continue at the helm.  ;)

Good news for the race that is only 2hrs from me, but sadly that will mean there will inevitably be less money for venue upgrades and it will remain a piece of crap for too much money.  Thanks Bernie.

One can never know for sure with Bernie, but I believe he said the new contract would include upgrading the facility. Whether that means the private sky boxes or the public areas wasn't quite clear.

The first thing that needs upgrading Lonny are the toilet facilities.

Yeah, unless it's something he actually sees, he couldn't care a less.  That means only helipad, paddock and Paddock Club will see facility upgrades

I suppose the paddock toilets are going to be world-class by the time Bernie has finished negotiations!

I don't know about that, but I'm pretty sure he wipes with the Concorde Agreement...

Of course. After all, he's full of it.

I don't think a gallon of CLR could clean the grout lines in this privy at Monza.

I'd forgotten you'd taken those shots...finally you guys can see what Ian and I are talking about.  I bet the Paddock Club WC's aren't anything like that.  Monza tip.  Eat lightly and use the trees.

Bernie probably doesn't class those as toilets, which explains the neglect...
