Imola will have to wait...
« on: July 28, 2016, 08:40:24 PM »
Monza just signed a 4 year, €88 million deal with Bernie's Accounts Receivable clerk.  Glad it is staying in Monza, but I hope the FOM has added some upgrade clauses that are for something other than the Paddock Club...no, why would they?

Funny, 10 days ago Imola announced they had signed with Bernie and only needed the approval of the Italian sporting authority to take over. Now it seems they might take it to court. Courts in Italy being as strange as they are who knows what the outcome might be?

They used to have both in the same year why not again.

One sure thing about the Italian courts is that there won't be a ruling for a decade or so...just ask Frank Williams.

3 other races are at risk of falling off the calendar and Bernie is desperately trying to avoid falling to 18 races on the calendar as this triggers renegotation agreements in many of his bilateral contracts. Expect the San Marino Grand Prix to be back (and for Monza to retain Italy).
