I know it says 4 but 9 drivers are listed.Read Hill's and find the mistake

Maybe he thinks only 4 of the 9 should have returned. For example, would anybody want to see JPM come back?  ;)

Well, McQueen was director John Frankenhiemer's first choice for Grand Prix.  ;)

Do you think GP would have been better with McQueen?Frankenheimer
said later if he knew Sarti would be such a favorite he may have let him
live.With his feeling for Garner I wonder who would have died.

I don't know. The film turned out so well that it's hard to imagine it any differently.

One good thing that did come out of it was LeMans. McQueen made it to prove that he could do a big racing movie, too.
