Like so many drivers of that era, he was killed before he could really come into hie own. RIP.

I agree with Lonny & Dare. I think Revson would have achieved even greater things in racing. The loss of so many talented young drivers is still a cloud that hangs over memories of those days.

On the bright side, could you even imagine a driver moving so freely between 3 series for the same team these days? He also did well in the Trans Am, partnering with Mark Donohue for Roger Penske's AMC team.

Alas, Kubica and Tony Stewart have demonstrated the risks of letting high priced talent 'slum' in other series.

I wish racers could just race, but I do appreciate why the people paying them millions of dollars don't want the risk.
