Liberty Media: Moving Forward?
« on: June 01, 2017, 09:40:20 PM »
The article below, from F1 Fanatic, outlines sone of the changes Liberty Media has put in place so far. Are they on the right track or is it just hype?

The jury is still out, of course.  Bernie was happy to experiment, but quick to pull the plug if something wasn't making money.

I'm glad Liberty is trying new things, and I'm glad they're open about it.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume they mean the 'risk of a crash' is exciting because of the narrow escape due to the skill of the drivers, not the crash itself.

If they want close racing (with increased 'risk of a crash'), they need more teams, and they need to find a way to close the gap between top teams and bottom teams.
