Kimi not pleasing Fiat management

As an ever Kimi fan, I of course think Marchionne should shut up and let Kimi do the driving, but he probably has more right to express his opinion than I do.  I think if Kimi gets dropped by Ferrari that he likely won't look elsewhere and will be done with F1.

I don't blame Kimi for holding on past his prime.  For a quarter of what he makes I'd publicly embarrass myself far worse than he does.

I think he'll be the biggest loss from the F1 grid since I've started watching F1.  The sport already suffered without him once.

As a character he would be missed, but at the moment what I miss most about Kimi is his race craft.  He just can't seem to drive the car above its potential anymore.

He's a competent driver with flashes of brilliance for sure.

It's his attitude that is missing in the younger drivers.  The sport is a team sport, and these 'kids' come up relying on everyone:  when things go wrong all they can do is whine.  Kimi will complain, sure, but it's more a matter of letting the team know they've let him down, not that he's throwing a tantrum.  I don't think that Kimi ever had the loyalty of his team that past drivers had, but I think he has more than most on the grid now.

Can't blane him for yesterday, he was trying to fix some problem with the car the whole race. The engineers kept telling him to change this and change that, then admitting it wasn't working. I think Marchionne has already decided to fire Kimi and is manufacturing reasons to justify his decision.

I could see Kimi becoming a Red Bull Ambassador and barnstorming the world driving any crazy thing with a Red Bull logo on it.

It's too bad he never ended up at RBR.  Though maybe a season at STR mentoring some mechanics on how to deal with a 'driver's driver' would do the sport some good.

Kimi's my favorite driver and I'd hate to see
him go. Funny Kimi should have and could have
won Monaco except for planned pit mismanagement.
