Wonder what his boss Mercedes says thinks of this? From
comments I've seen on articles many Mercedes owners in
the US said if this happens they'll never buy another Mercedes.
This could cost them a huge amount of money.

White supremacists hate a car company that supplied the Nazis?  That's more free advertising than any world championship could ever earn them.

It may come as a surprise to you but the US isn't full of
white supremacists. But it does have many Mercedes owners
that don't go along with kneeling.

Any number more than zero is too many for my liking.

Of course, Canada isn't really better.  Our bigots just keep a lower profile in the media, but I'm seeing more Confederate flags these days.  They can't even claim a link to heritage, at least I'm not aware of a migration north from the South.

I've been staying out of this, but I'm going to put my 2 cents worth in. (Or tuppence to my friends on That Septred Isle)

It's not something I would do during the anthem, but I fully agree with their right to do it. In fact, I really don't see silently taking a knee as all that disrespectful. They aren't turning their backs, making obscene gestures, burning flags or anything of that nature.

I'm actually surprised how many of my friends at my AMVETS & VFW Posts feel the same way I do on the matter.
