Ferrari chairman: driver error

Driver error had nothing to do with it....once Hamilton buckled
down he was unbeatable. Driving a Mercedes didn't hurt either

Isn't that adorable?  I would LOVE to have a boss like that.  |-( |-( |-(

He's right though, Vettel has made errors or at least misjudgements which is how Ferrari's big cheese has framed this.

Of course it's the top boss' role to call it as it is especially when most of the media is blaming reliability of the car as the reason for Lewis/Merc's easy ride in the 2nd half of the season.

If I wrote the huge cheque that Vettel collects I would certainly be unhappy with some of his on track standards.

Perhaps if more top bosses spoke up publicly about poor driving standards, rather than attacking stewards decisions, we might see their drivers cleaning up the act.

Of course he’s made errors as I’m very critical of Vettel generally, however without the errors, I doubt Ferrari would have had either championship, and I think laundry should be done in private.

If Ferrari hadn't made Kime give spots to Vettel the WDC
wouldn't have  been as close as it was. And for Marchionne's
error comment there isn't a driver that didn't make a mistake
this year. Ramming cars isn't a driver error IMO it's a lack of
