ESPN Won't Have Commentators for F1

The F1 to ESPN deal is going to be awful. They aren't going to have any commentators, just the generic F1 world feed. It looks like this week-end might be Hobbo's last race. This really sucks!

What the heck is a 'generic broadcast team'?  Is it going to be the Ch4 bunch since they are also losing their jobs after next year?  I would be interested to see what exactly they mean.

With a "generic" broadcast, halos, spoiled brats like Max on the rise, and really stupid rules in effect maybe it's time to start sleeping in on Sundays. F1 may be faster and safer but it is not the sport I began watching some 50 odd years ago.

I can get a Sky stream for audio and hope the ESPN show is
in sync.

Hate to admit it but I agree with you. It used to be a pleasure
to get up in the middle of the night for a race....now it's a chore

ESPN is the UK Sky stream. Literally. So no need to look for an illegal one
