MXGP Motocross World Championship
« on: April 17, 2018, 07:44:41 PM »
I started watching this for the first time last night and really enjoyed it.    Of course, it will take a while to get my teeth into it and learn "whose who" and all the technical aspects of the sport.  I was interested in motocross as a kid (or Scrambling as we called it in Scotland back I the day) ... so I will watch a few outings and see if I become hooked!!

All the best,
Cal :)

A guy who lives opposite me seems to be into 'scrambling' in a big way.  I only just got speaking to the family (mainly the father) who started telling me that they go around Cambridgeshire doing the dirt stuff but his son (the rider) has just started doing SuperMoto.  I am more familiar with the MotoGP stuff but it has perked my interest somewhat in dirt bike racing.  He is off to Rowrah this weekend for the second round of the British SuperMoto Championship.  The weekend before last he was in a small town called Chatteris doing the scrambling stuff and apparently the conditions were so appalling the 3rd race was cancelled.

Luke, I tried to answer this a couple of days ago and my browser froze!!!!  >:(

Anyway, I have since watched both races of Rounds #1 and #2 of MGXP 2018 and I'm really enjoying "getting to know it".  Of course, F1 always takes priority, but between times, my Snooker and Darts fix now has MGXP as a good sporting alternative.

All the best,
Cal :)
