It's getting a little silly now.  We have classic race venues which are struggling to stay afloat, with new venues which close their doors after a handful of seasons.  Whether it's tracks or teams, I really hope that someone has a "moment of clarity" and sorts out these ongoing issues once and for all ... but not likely!!

In fairness, the issue here appears to be with Spanish politics underwriting the circuit - F1 seems keen to continue and nobody in the article is citing the fee itself as a bone of contention (for a change!).
