Title: Massa to Max - Shut Up, Kid
Post by: cosworth151 on April 18, 2017, 12:27:12 PM
Little Maxie V may have pick the wrong person to run his mouth about.

One of the Max whines from Bahrain was that Massa spoiled his quali. "He is Brazilian, so there is not much to talk about."

It looks like Felipe didn't get the memo that Max is the new Golden Boy:

"I told him: 'Be careful with what you say because you still need to go to Brazil to race there. Be careful what you say.'

"For sure, it's wasn't right to talk about Brazilians without knowing what he's talking about," Massa told UOL Esporte.

"I didn't even stop him. Maybe I was the scapegoat because he couldn't get ahead of his teammate, so someone had to be to blame.

"It was the same between me and Hulkenberg, but did you see one complaining about the other?"

I wonder if we'll see a NASCAR style dust up between them if Maxie keeps his mouth in gear.

Moron...is it any wonder where this kid gets his personality from when his Dad is still getting into bar fights.

Why would you badmouth an entire country because you can't deal with a bit of aero wash?  The marketing arm of Red Bull might want to send a memo to him themselves.

I wasn't impressed by that comment either.  Verstappen does like to complain about others far too often.  His father used to direct blame to others a lot as well, such as when he fell out with Paul Stoddart at Minardi in 2003, and I never much cared for his attitude.  Max needs to be careful that he doesn't emulate his father's behaviour.

Leigh Diffey from NBC spoke to Tony Kanaan at the last IndyCar race and Tony said despite his apology, he thinks Max will still get a rude welcome in Brazil.
