Solenne San Jose decided she wanted to close her phone accountwith Bouygues Telecom. Sounds reasonable enough. Companies do generally like the bill to be settled before disconnection occurs. Also reasonable.
I would humbly suggest that charging 11,721 thousand billion euros for the privilege is not reasonable (http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/frenchwomans-alarm-trillion-euro-phone-bill-130646818.html).
For the record, this is 306 times the size of the entire planet's public debts. Had this debt been genuine, Solenne could have single-handedly ended the recession... ...but she couldn't. Like most of us, she didn't have that kind of money and besides, she hadn't used her phone enough to justify a bill quite that large.
After a rather long argument with the company, it was finally discovered that Bouygues Telecom had made a minor printing error. They settled on the somewhat more modest bill of €117.21.

Tricky little critters, those decimal points.
