Ah come on David, too dangerous  Shocked, we're talking about the best drivers in the world in F1 if they can't cope how come they manage at the 24 hours of Le Mans without fuss?

Fair point John. I suppose I'm basis as I follow Ferrari who are lucky enough to have been a so called top team for many years, and I hate the thought of my teams cars being held up.

One thing I will say is that Le Mans is a multi level race series, F1 is not. It's singular level sport all about racing and not just taking part. In my view if you are not quick enough then you need to work harder to become quick enough.

Without in season testing, how else will they get better if they aren't puttering around the track?

(Which made me wonder last year, why teams with a washed up race didn't just send guys out to collect data.)

Another good point Jeri. However, if it was easy everybody would be doing it. Then we would no longer be able to call it the pinnacle of motorsport.

Ferrari had strong start at qualy because both drivers were at top 3 YAHOO!. I hope that Massa wins tomorrow because he has good chances to do that. Alonso will be strong too. Schumi was not bad, he was 8th and tomorrow he improves any way.
