2010 Australian Grand Prix
« on: March 26, 2010, 10:16:26 AM »
G'day everyone,

I am in Melbourne for the Grand Prix, sorry there will be no photos until Tuesday because the internet at the motel is slow and prone to drop outs, I was lucky to get my picks in.

Not much to report. Paul Di Resta is driving the first session on Friday at every gp, Sutil today and Liuzzi in Malaysia and vice versa for the year. Schumacher says Merc can't win yet and that is about it. All of the drivers and the atmosphere seem to be a little subdued compared to other years or maybe it's just me.

By the way, the commentators at the track which includes Peter Windsor (he doesn't seem to be mentioning USF1), have said the Australian Bureau Of Meterology have stated that there is a good chance of rain in the afternoon/evening on Sunday. You can look at my race picks to see if I think it will rain or not but don't blame me if it's wrong! :tease: :P

I can't think of anything to write here.

Some photos, sorry about the bluriness, I was shooting through the fence. There is a mixture of practice, qualifying and race photos. This is Senna breaking down in practice 3.

All in all it was a pretty good weekend, the rain made it even more interesting. Also in my opinion the Virgin car is the best looking car on the grid, it doesn't look like it on the tv but in the flesh it really stands out. And i'm glad i finally got to see Schumacher in real life. Shame about Webber though. Till next year.

I don't think that is JB, I think it is the guy from V8 who he swapped with as that looks like a 2008 car with grooved tyres.
