I am still watching Rai Tv`s on Formula 1 called Pole Position chaired by Jean Alesi and they are of the opinion that Hamilton should have had a drive through for weaving.

Any Comments.  ::)

The rules (as stated by Martin Brundel) say that he Mclaren were warned about Hamilton's weaving, and that was the end of it from the Marshalls!!!!!  So not sure what they are talking about?

He got a warning from the stewards, I seem to remember Massa pulled something similar in Melbourne and there was no penalty not even a warning. I don't think it was really blocking or dangerous and it's a testament to the new look stewards system that they saw it that way as well.

Hear Hear, well said, as I stated above, Marshalls warned Mclaren, and that was the end of it.

The Red Bull's were in a league of their own today, and their reliability held up.  Hamilton had a great, but let's be honest, not unexpected great drive to cut through the field.  Credit to Sutil for holding him up though  ;)

hehe, I thought the rule was two defends and then penalty...I counted at least 4.  But the stewards weren't asking about that, but only Vettel's pass on Trulli under yellows.  They agreed with him that Trulli obviously had problems and was offline, so the pass was forgiven.

While I wouldn't classify the race as a classic, it was certainly better than average.  There was plenty of on track passing, there was genuine pit strategy.  I think this was the race the rules were intended to create.  Alas, it took rain in Q1 to make it happen.

I'm glad that Vettel won.  I'm glad that the race director showed the passing.  I'm glad to see that the young drivers are holding their own out there.  I'm glad that the teams are trying new things, and that the drivers are taking more risks.
