How will Ferrari cope with the new "mirror rule"!?
« on: April 05, 2010, 04:21:32 PM »
What impact will the new regulations about the mirrors affect the performance of the F10?
Good thing that they have until Barcelona to work things out!

how will they cope?

I imagine by spending more money than HRT, Lotus and Williams combined.

I shouldn't think it will have much effect on Ferrari, they can leave the out riggers the mirrors are mounted on in place so the only areo loss will probably be from sticking the mirrors on the body work near the cockpit.

They have mounted mirrors on the cockpit area on previous cars so they should be able to do it without too much trouble or cost. You never know the way the F10 has been performing it may be an improvement. ;)

I really hope it will be an improvement. I´m also very curios about their "F-duct work", some extra km/h would be great.
