:DntKnw: :DntKnw:  I'm not sure if you meant to post a link too.  I don't really understand what a 03. ride height boost is?  Did you mean they are getting a ride height adjustment like RBR and that should account for .3 seconds?  Not sure...   :DntKnw: :DntKnw:

Is McLaren talking about introducing the system that Red Bull have pledged to protest if it turns up at a GP?

This is Chritian Horner quoted on OneStopStrategy.com, two days ago, in a piece about RBR supporting a 'Ride Height' rule change tweak. We shall have to wait and see if Christian is bluffing, but he has nailed his colours to the mast so firmly how can he back down? :DntKnw:

However, while reinforcing his earlier denial that the RB6 is veiling an adjustable ride height system, team boss Christian Horner said at Sepang that he would back the rumoured rule tweak.

"Yes, that would save money," said the Briton.

Indeed, Martin Whitmarsh has suggested that McLaren is working on emulating Red Bull's supposed system, and Horner warns that Red Bull would protest any such attempt.

"If McLaren go to China with anything like that (an adjustable ride-height system), we will lodge a protest against it, because that would be illegal.

"The FIA looked at our car again on Saturday night and are completely happy with it. They did not find anything, because there is nothing!" added Horner.

It's illegal if it's on the Mclaren, but not if it's on the RBR?  Sounds like the old FIA.   >:D

I am really confused, and it doesn't take much but, ....why are RBR going to protest if Mclaren copy their adjustable ride-height system?   Other teams are now working on copying Mclaren's own F-duct wing design...????

Ah-ha the answer is really neat if a little existential, it's McLaren who claim they are copying a system that Red Bull insists doesn't exist, ergo how can you copy something that is not there?  ;)  :D :stop: :nono:

Still confused? I know I am it's as clear as mud  ::)

FIA warns Teams on Ride Height Devices......For all it`s worth. ;)

Yeah but the Red Bull car has been cleared to race in 3 races this year, so either it has no ride height system and they have pulled a fast one on the others by sending cars out with more fuel than anyone expected when they bottomed out, or they have a system too damn good for the scrutineers to pick up on.  :DntKnw:

Looks like Bed Bull may still have the jump on the others. :D
