I'd just re-loaded one of the laptops here after it got nailed by that MacAfee glitch. I tried to get into the Forum as a test and wondered, "What the #$*@! did I do wrong?"

Mcafee came loaded n my pc as a 6 month
trial. They make it near impossible to get
it off when the trial is up.I have Vipre now
and it seems to work just fine.

What's your anti-virus and how do you rate it

Mine's a Mac - no need for anti-virus (yet).

At the hotel we have McAfee, but it wasn't affected.

AVG free is the weapon of choice for Windows machines for me. I run iAntivirus on my Mac even though I shouldn't really need to.

I have Norton. Used to have AVG but it missed a massive and extremely annoying infection last autumn.

Kaspersky for me.  :good:

I too had a major problem with AVG as it let a bug into my system. Ain't nothin' in life for free, except the best things so they say.
