Early in their careers both Ross Brawn and Adrian Newey were employed by Formula One Race Car Engineering (FORCE), what was the team better known as?

Team Haas (aka Haas Lola)

:yahoo: Jeri takes it with Haas Lola or Team Haas (USA) Ltd. to give it the official name.

Nice try Cos since both Ross and Adrian had spells at March. Good to see we have got 2 new players.

Over to you Jeri for a question

It's got to be Gilles?

Gilles won the first Canadian GP in Montreal 1978), and was the first Canadian to win the Canadian GP when it was a championship event.   However the Canadian Grand Prix hosted Formula 1 cars in non-championship events (1961-66), and was once won by a Canadian before Gilles.

Peter Ryan

Indeed it was.   :yahoo: He won the inagural Canadian Grand Prix in 1961, and went on to contest the US Grand Prix that year, the only championship event he raced.

I think that might be Chris Amon, fellow Kiwi and best mukker to Bruce McLaren, Chris led 183 laps. His skill and acheivements in F1 rank equal to Stirling's as 'Always the Bridesmaid but never the Bride'.

Was it Alessandro de Tomaso? I know that they were partners in the early 70's.

What was the first British car to win an F1 race, and what race was it?
