one of the perks of being a Ferrari big shot,
lucky dog

The Ferrari team invited a special guest to its simulator on Tuesday as company Chairman Luca di Montezemolo drove several laps of Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya, guided round by test driver Marc Gené.

With Felipe Mass and Fernando Alonso spearheading Maranello's 2010 line-up, the Scuderia has three test and reserve drivers 'on the bench' this year as Giancarlo Fisichella has joined Gené and Luca Badoer after competing in five races for the team at the end of last season.

Di Montezemolo was presented with the challenge of the Spanish Grand Prix track - one of the most used on F1 simulators - as Gené admitted that handing out advice to the company's leader was an 'decidedly unusual experience'.

Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."
