Renault apologise
« on: March 13, 2006, 05:59:18 PM »
Renault have apologised to for failing to provide Fisichella with a competitive drive in Sunday's Formula One Grand Prix in Bahrain. Engine problems from qualifying were not rectified and he was forced to pull out of the race after 21 laps.

"We have apologised to him for what happened yesterday," engineering head Pat Symonds told the team website. "His performance was compromised. In fact he drove an excellent race, but he was halted by an hydraulic leak."

During the race, Fisichella made his feelings known to the pit-lane team over the radio  :o , as defending champion and Renault team-mate Fernando Alonso went on to win the race.

Fisichella had more than his fair share of bad luck last year, lets just hope Renault can produce two reliable cars.

"No Matter how little money and how few possessions, you own, having a dog makes you rich."
