NASCAR to Broadcast in 3D
« on: June 28, 2010, 01:33:11 PM »
While F1 fans wonder if they will ever get to watch the races in HD, NASCAR will broadcast the July 3rd race from Daytona in 3D. They will also have two 3D live streams on the web.

The Firecracker 400 (now the Coke Zero 400) will be available on the TNT network. The two streams will be in the Race Buddy section of NASCAR.com.

Just one little fly in the ointment though, they say " In order to experience the novelty, however, viewers must have the right hardware in place."

Now my TV is HD compatable and that cost a bundle, how much to make the change to 3D on computer or TV?

Don't you also need glasses? Which might be a bit of a problem for those of us who already wear them?

I think you are officially an Old Fart when new technology gives you a headache instead of a rush. :DD :DD

Not making fun of you Dare, welcoming you to the club. I am proud to be an Old Fart. Means I survived being young and er "impulsive".  ;)
