There's a guy in Scottsdale who has become infamous for blowing through their cameras wearing a gorilla mask. The cops of course vow to catch him. The Arizona Highway Patrol is removing it's mobile traffic cams because they weren't generating as much money as anticipated,

I remember in Alberta they sold polaroid license plate covers that made it so the numbers could only be viewed from directly behind.  Unfortunately they only lasted a few months before they were banned.

The whole thing is a scam. Many of the ones here in the States are run by for-profit companies who get a percentage of each ticket issued. When they were installed in a town near me (Heath, Ohio) the number of speeding tickets for that section of Route 79 jumped from around a dozen a day up to round 300 a day. Redflex, the company operating the scam, got 30% of the gross income. Within 3 weeks, the system has pumped out more tickets than there were people living in Heath!

It was voted out at the next election, as were the mayor & most of the city council!
