Lotus may have their forgotten room with clay models and mock ups but Macca has a special room of their own, with enough tech to rival NASA. ;)

Great find, John S!  :good:

That level of tech is absolutely amazing. It also shows why cost control will be so hard to do in F1.

Unbelievable. My first reaction is to ban all real time data acquisition. But that won.t happen.

McLAREN has become one of the worlds's leading high-tech outfits and has spun off this expertise into their new car division.

Their new sports car the MP4-12C will be a FERRARI etc beater mainly due to the high-end innovation technology and the intellectual and engineering genius built into each one.

I can't wait for 2011 when the first deliveries will be made to see the way the car will embarrass the European marques on the road as well as the track.

....and the MP4-12C is just the first of a planned additional two cars each year.

Bring it on!
