Former Lotus Boss Peter Warr Passes

Peter Warr, former head of the Lotus and Wolf F1 teams, has passed at the age of 72.

Warr joined Lotus in 1958. He became manager of Team Lotus in 1970. He moved to the new Wolf team in 1977. He returned to Lotus as team principal after Colin Chapman's death in December 1982. He retired from F1 in 1989, but retained close ties with F1 and the BRDC.

Peter worked closely with a whole host of drivers for quite a few teams, including many world champions. I'm sure there will be a lot of the F1 community at his funeral.  R.I.P Peter.
