Sad news, Dare. Still, it looks like he did better for himself than many child stars. I noticed that the trailer for his first Tarzan movie calls him John Sheffield instead of Johnny, and calls his character Tarzan, Jr!

Really a rariety for someone to leave the business and find success in life. Seems he made a good job of it. I didn't want to be "Boy" but I loved the movies.
