We're getting together with friends tonight to pick bluegrass.

Thank you all!

Unfortuntaly, Cosworth didn't get to drink with me, since I didn't get to drink until I got home tonight.  Today contained a crisp 22 degrees, one dead car battery, one hair-raising effort back a 1988 Lincoln Town Car around a house in a snowy slope in a narrow driveway, and we only ran over one pile of frozen firewood, and snagged the antenna on an apple tree branch.  Then the new battery only cost $40 more than I had estimated (glad I had my tip money with me), and I played banjo for 4 hours straight, and now I'm stiff and sore.

Then Monday I fell in a hole and wrenched my left knee, so I'm limping.  My dog decided to take a stroll for an hour while I was fixing his supper, and by the time I got the groceries carried in the house, the dogs fed, watered, boxes stuffed with straw, etc. and get settled in my house, it was 1:30 AM and I've spent most of the day outside in 22 degree F temps.

I'm whupped.   I'm glad my birthday only comes once a year.

Claw Grrl.

Here she is picking one of her banjos. We had about a dozen or so pickers on hand, and quite a few listeners.

Guess whose car I'm putting a battery in this afternoon.
