Ferrari 4 Wheel Drive Hatchback
« on: January 21, 2011, 02:27:38 PM »
No, I'm not kidding.

The 4 wheel drive, 4 seat Ferrari FF hatchback will replace the 612 Scagletti. I reminds me of the BMW "Breadvan" M from a few years ago.

Kinda looks like they took a shortcut and simply copied a BMW 1 series top and rear end and stuck it on top of a Firoano.

Kinda cool that it's a 4x4 Ferrari that holds 4 people and their handbags, but I don't really like it (this from a guy who's getting a Volvo  ).

A strange vehicle for Ferrari to build indeed, and not one I would consider if I was ever lucky enough to be in the position to buy one. I didn't think they would ever go down the 4WD route even though it had been rumoured. Reading into it it certainly ticks all the right boxes, 6.3ltr V12, 660bhp, 0-60mph 3.7secs and a top speed of 207mph. It sounds pretty good too, check out the link below and go to the sounds section. Can’t get my head round how it looks from the studio photos but I will reserve judgment until I get to see a video of it on the road. I wasn’t sure about the California when it first came out then I see one in the flesh and it was drop dead gorgeous, much the same with the 458 Italia and now there is not a lot I wouldn’t do for one.

I saw today first pics of Ferrari FF in red colour. Beautiful car (and very expensive price!), the first even 4x4 made Ferrari. If Top Gear makes a test driving of that car, I would like to see that episode! ;)

Not a fan of this style. It was ugly when BMW did it and it's still ugly. If you need 4WD Audi and Lowly Subaru do it better than anyone, if you want speed any other Ferrari will do. That said, I'm sure it will sell.

I agree about the 4WD, if money was no barrier which it is, my big family four seater would be a Audi RS6.  8)
