Car of the future?
« on: January 26, 2011, 06:14:11 PM »
If you look at automobiles eighty or so years ago, you’ll find that they were all box-like and one colour. Just imagine what cars will look like 100 years from now!

This is what engineer Peter Maskus has attempted to do. Maskus has worked at BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari, and has now started his own company in Switzerland called Acabion. This particular mock-up is called the “da Vinci”, and it is an all-electric vehicle that is ultra-fast with a top speed of 375 miles per hour!  :o

Personally I can't see Mrs Wiz getting much shopping in there - BONUS!  :D

Someone on the design team is probably one of those idiots you see driving around with chrome exhaust tips screwed onto their pipes!  :tease:

And what's wrong with that? I suppose you're against make-up & Wonder Bras, too.  :P

Just adding a bit of glamor.  ;)

Never mind the chrome, is it just me or is that just a motorbike with kid's style stabilisers bolted on.  :swoon:  2 plus 2 wheels don't always add up to car.  :D

Looks like a bike to me too. One that ran into the bake of an old dry lake fuel tank speedster.
