Well done guys, a good win from your team. I watched a lot of the game it was a good cliffhanger towards the end, then all of a sudden the game was over with time left on the clock after a bit of scrambled fumbling from rival players. Seems this Gridiron game is harder to appreciate than Cricket.  :D

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:  GO PACK!!!!!!   :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

A good game in spite of some horrible calls by the refs.

A little info for those of you not into the NFL. Green Bay, Wisconsin is by far the smallest city in the league. It is one of the original teams, dating back to 1921. The team is owned by the citizens of Green Bay. They have won more NFL Championships than any other team in the league.

There's a 30 second time clock to start a play,when the
game is down to the final seconds teams just let the
clock expire rather than risk a turnover. Now wasn't that
ez ;)

To give an idea of the population GB is around 102,000 when L.A. who doesn't have a team is at around 7 million.

when you drive by the city it is just a bunch of singal story houses, then in the middle raises Lambeau Field. The waiting list for season tickets is 90 years!

Hey cos, are you from Wisconsin or just a fan?

I'm from Ohio and a Bengals fan. As such, I hate the &#@*#!!! Steelers!

I like the Pack because they're owned by the people of Green Bay. They're a small town team. They have their training camp right in town, across from Lambeau Field. Also, I grew up during the Vince Lombardi years.

I'm a Bears fan, so I'm not happy with this at all. It was also a surprisingly close game. Pittburgh had 4 turnovers and still came up just short.

Sorry about that purespeed  :D and yeah, I was sure once we stated getting hit with all those injures we were gunna get beat... But in the end they just made the game that much more enjoyable!

I am from Wisconsin, albeit a long time ago, and my extended family mostly still live there. They are all huge GB fans, and currently over the moon. Vince Lombardi was one of the last real coaches, he taught the team his way to play, gave them the plan and let them play the game. Bart Starr called the plays. After VL the Tom Landry's took over and began to micro-manage the game. Boring. Still, I'm glad the Packers won.

There's now a Broadway play about Coach Lombardi:
