The shark is al long time ago... 1998, 1999, what was it? As far as I know, the only animals in the pitlane are four red bulls (two of them are Italian...)  ::)

Austin promoter Tavo Hellmund proved once again that he is the Renfield to Benie's Dracula. From Racer.com:

"Bernie Ecclestone's idea for artificial rain during races is brilliant on several fronts," Hellmund declared. "I'll have to talk with Bernie soon about this to see if it is something that makes sense. We're obviously in a perfect position [to include such a feature], being at the front end of the construction process. We'd love to be one of the tracks to make this possible."

Finally, after all the boring, flat Tilke Dromes, Austin looks like a circuit with a bit of grade to it (some hills and dips).  That'll be enough to make things interesting...let's leave the rain in Spain (or, more likely Sepang).
