Goodwood Festival of Speed

If you have never been to the Festival then this could be your year to attend as its theme is "Racing Revelations: Quantum Leaps that changed Motorsport" and nine out of twelve GP teams are due to turn up.
They will also recognise the 100th Anniversary of the 1st Indianapolis 500 with over 30 Indy winning cars on display.
This is a great three day event, when I went on the Friday we were talking to Anthony Davidson who was driving for Renault at the time we also spent time chatting with the F1 teams crews as so few went on Friday's. Is that the case now? I don't know but you will not get close on Saturday and Sunday.

Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!

If only...my wife's doing a Gigathon that weekend (kinda like a three day long triathalon), my son leaves for summer camp on the Friday and the hotel is packed starting on the Saturday.

I will make it to Goodwood, but not this year... :(

So that's why the AMR One isn't at Sebring.  ;)

It always looks like a great time. Too bad there's nothing like it over here.

Actually, the Monterey Historic isn't Goodwood, but it isn't bad. And you can sign up for the concours as well. Tis a bit pricey though.
