The tires are giving up. At the end of his first run Vettel was missing a 1" X 2" piece of his left front. Massa had a right front fail, whether it gave out and caused him to lock up, or locked up causing it to blow I'm not quite sure. maybe the drivers are right and Pirelli wrong. Button and Hamilton looking very competitive.

USGP Indy used to do the same thing with a race day ticket. They had free autograph sessions with every driver as part of it. Speed's F1 crew did interviews with F1 celebs in the Pagoda Plaza all day.

Here are half a dozen pictures of the first two practices sessions. I even got one of Luizzi  in the HRT for his one and only lap. I don't know how it is on TV but the Sauber and Williams look very similar on the track from where I'm sitting. And what about Webber topping the time sheets, hopefully he will be there on Sunday as well. Oh, and the pit walk was part of the Grand Stand ticket, but I think you had to buy your ticket before about October to get it, well worth it though.

Here's Liuzzi.

Also Ferrari were using the aero dynamic dye on Massa's rear wing, the track commentators said after he done a few laps photos were taken of the dye pattern and sent back to the factory for analysis, they seem to be taking this racing stuff seriously.

Hang onto that HRT pix. It could be a rarity.

That HRT car looks so dated I'm suprised not to see Bridgestone tyres on it.  :D :DD

Good pics aazz,  :good: the McLaren sure looks different to the rest with those sidepods.

Something a bit different today. I managed to get a good spot where the drivers enter the track of a morning, I only got half a dozen shots before being asked to move on. Here they are.
