Zero & Bonehead of the Year award....
« on: April 18, 2011, 01:52:29 AM »
I'll personally carry this thread through to the end of the season and name my self proclaimed "Zero of the Year" and "Bonehead of the Year" and it would be cool if I could get some consensus.  :D

For me for Bonehead, so far nobody comes close to Button pulling into the wrong pit. I love the guy and respect him as a racer but jeez, can you name a bigger bonehead move so far?  :D

Hmm, I'd consider JB more to be 'funniest moment of stupidity of the year' as opposed to zero of the year!  It was hilarious and quite disturbing for fans of his!  Maybe we've got it wrong, it is JB and not Lewis trying to get the second Red Bull seat and he wants it so bad he took his McLaren to them for a close up look?!  :fool:

Anyway, zero of the year award in my opinion so far goes to Williams.  So much optimism from the team, so much talk of a tight rear end (childish giggle  :D ) and yet the car is in real danger of being passed by Lotus as things stand.  Ruben's couldn't even be bothered to defend himself on track yesterday the car is so poor... Pastor...   I hope the Venezuelan money is doing a better job for the team than the driver!

JB wrong box 'Reeght Stoopid' yeah, Zero of the year no way.  :nono:

Alonso's misjudgement in KL clipping the back of Lewis, and then squealing foul from Lewis comes much higher up the list in my book. Early days still plenty of downsides to come I'm sure. Good thought for a thread though F1D. :good:

I'd re-title this Bonehead of the Year Award.

And yup, I'd give it to JB for the pit blunder.

OK, good suggestions here. I changed to a two awards contest with JB way out front for Bonehead of the Year.

Zero of the year for me then would indeed be (so far mind you) FA blaming LH for the KL incident.  :D

Williamsfan, I feel your pain but I think this should be an individual award. Certainly they qualify for biggest disappointment of the year!
