Top Gear, hardly a hard hitting pure racers show.  The entertainment value comes from the very fact that they are a little ridiculous.  I enjoy the unrealistic challenges eg: Aston versus the eurostar train....so on and so forth.  Really it's just a forum for wishers and droolers alike.  If they were really going to roadtest each car honestly the stig wouldn't have time for anything else except testing these cars.  Instead it's just 3 mens opinions (heavily biased).  I say, hate the presenters and the audience all you like, just take the entertainment value of the ridiculous, like watching the simpsons or something along those lines.

Life was never meant to be taken that seriously.

Asked the question: 'top gear or fifth gear' my answer always used to be 'fifth gear of course'. VBH, Tiff, Plato, VBH, VBH, VBH....how could you beat it. Then they move to a cafe and introduce Tim Lovemyself and worse, try to emulate stupid stunts which have already ruined Top Gear.
F1Wizard how about your own television programme? We already have a Stig. All we need is Butler-Henderson & Suzi Peri to present the show and I will be happy to test any £50k+ supercar absolutely free.

:D Well that is very kind of you to offer your driving skills completely free of charge.

Its a shame we don't have public access channels like the US the we really could do our own TV.

VBH?? Who's dressing up in a skirt then?
