Juan Pablo wins Daytona 24 hrs.

Over the week-end, Juan Pablo Montoya won the 24 hours of Daytona in a Riley-Lexus co-driven by Scott Pruett and Salvador Duran. The race is now part of the NASCAR-backed Grand American series and a mere shadow of its former glory. The cars are all Rileys with various engines. The cars then have decals of grills and side windows applied to make them resemble the make of car. They really do look they fell out of the top of an Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

JPM is only the second driver to win the Daytona 24, the Indy 500 and at least one F1 race. The other was Mario Andretti.
