Earth Angel - Cars & Classic Rock
« on: June 22, 2011, 03:15:10 PM »
In the U2 thread, I mentioned the Earth Angel Super Cruise. The Earth Angel Foundation raises money for critically ill children. This was the 25th Annual Super Cruise. Lots and lots and lots of classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods and a classic rock concert - all for a great cause. The concert this year was Tommy James & The Shondells. We had thunderstorms come through during the day, so the turn out was lower than normal.

Here's Tommy James on stage:

It did rain off and on, but there was still a fair turnout. The silver 1937 Ford coupe in the foreground was this year's feature car.

We hillbillies will hotrod anything with wheels. This old Divco milk truck has full rod suspension and the drive train from a 472 c.i.d. Caddy.
