First trailer for Codemasters F1 2011

Game release Sept 23rd 2011 for Xbox 360, PS 3 and Games for Windows, with handheld editions to follow.

This trailer gives an insight into some of the innovations and enhancements in the official game There's exciting wheel to wheel racing, enhanced by KERS and DRS, as well as highlighting improved garage, paddock, pit lane and Parc Fermé cinematics that further immerse the player into the life of a FORMULA ONE driver.  Looks cool to a non games player.

anyone buying the pc game better make sure yoiur
pc can handle it before you purchase.Last year I
didn't and had to buy a new pc

Wow it looks as great as always.

I havent even got into F1 2010 yet! Thats the price you pay for getting so many cool games for xmas. I always knew F1 would be the hardest to master and therefore I left it until last. Now I want 2011

I bought F1 2010 and was disappointed with it.In
practice mode if you went off track you'd get
the lap invalidated message

My favorite F1 game was the EA F1 Challenge 99-02
especially with the 2004 mod.It a little outdated now

I like 2010, it keeps me entertained.

Cant wait for 2011 though!

And Dare, you can adjust the penalty level to give you a little more leeway

I think I might have to go for another game platform...Wii just doesn't cut it for F1 games.  Xbox or PS - what's the vote?

I'd go for PS3 Scott, the big advantage with PS's is that it costs nothing to play on-line, whereas the Xbox you have to pay. Just my personal opinion though.

I hadn't owned a games console for years but since owning a PS3 I am amazed at what it can do. It now takes centre stage in my tv set up as I kicked out my old surround sound DVD system and replaced it with a PS3.

I now use it for:

Blueray/DVD player with surround sound.
Media Server for both pictures and music (playing through surround sound).
Pictures and videos can be accessed through any wireless device (i.e. laptop) or uploaded to the internal hard drive.
Film and game rental/purchase through either Playstation network or iLove Films.
Chat & Video Conference calls to friends.
Access to all the various TV iPlayer channels.
Full internet browsing.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot - Its arguably the best games console as well

Expensive? for a games console yes. If you use it to its full potential I would pay double for it.

Thanks Wizzo - great review.  I'll be saving my tip money (as long as there aren't too many Brits around, I should do ok  ).  Hope to get one this fall.  I might be able to sneak it in as a birthday present for my son.

Normally I'd agree with you Dare, but as I'm now 100% an Apple owner, and in particular a laptop, it won't cut it for gaming.
