Trulli positive about Toyota
« on: January 31, 2007, 03:29:49 PM »

Jarno Trulli had his first outing in the new Toyota at Valencia on Tuesday and his first impressions of the car were positive.

Bad weather limited the team to an installation lap in the morning, but by the end of the day Trulli had completed 54-trouble free laps lapping fifth fastest.

"It was a smooth day for my first time in the new car, we had no problems," Trulli said. "Unfortunately the weather was not great today and that did not help us."

"We could not do much in terms of looking for a perfect set-up so it was difficult to say about balance of the car, it is still too early to judge but my first impressions were positive."

"We managed to put some good miles on the car which is very useful at the start of winter testing. Everything seemed to go pretty well so it was a promising start to our pre-season testing."

Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."
