Charity F1 Auction
« on: February 02, 2007, 09:22:58 AM »

AVIS (A non-profit charitable organization) based in the green heart of Italy, Tuoro sul Trasimeno, Umbria, Italy - this week requested the urgent help of the sport stars to assist in the raising of funds for a local young child in need of urgent medical treatments.

Motor sport legends - including Giancarlo Fisichella, Kimi Raikkonen, Niki Lauda, Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi and Colin Edwards are just a few who have been kind-hearted, donating some incredible personal items.

An auction will take place at www.eBay.it from 5th to the12th February providing an unrivalled opportunity to purchase extraordinary and historical pieces of memorabilia such as the famous Parmalat cap of Niki Lauda, an unique item of the three times F1 World Champion, a Team Yamaha shirt signed by both Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards, a Ferrari cap of Raikkonen, two caps worn by Fisichella in Suzuka (one is from the podium!) and also a MotoGP cap of Biaggi from 2004 season when he finished third with Pramac Honda... all of them signed by these great champions!

All the auctions will take place on www.ebay.it, in the charity area.
