Get your Silverstone Tickets before it's too late
« on: February 02, 2007, 10:29:22 AM »

Motor racing fans are being warned that they need to buy their tickets for the British Grand Prix now, or risk missing out.

The actual event doesn't take place until July 6th to July 8th, but Silverstone says tickets are selling like hot cakes.

Jenson Button, David Coulthard, Lewis Hamilton and Anthony Davidson will be doing their utmost to impress their home fans, making 2007 the most eagerly anticipated British Grand Prix for some years.

"It's fantastic that we've got four British drivers to get behind, and while Jenson Button and David Coulthard have experienced it all before, July 8th will be a very big day for both Lewis Hamilton and Anthony Davidson," said managing director of Silverstone Richard Phillips.

"One thing's for sure - they can expect a fantastic reception from the Silverstone crowd."

Phillips says that several of the grandstands have already sold out, so fans had better get buying their tickets.

"No Matter how little money and how few possessions, you own, having a dog makes you rich."

Just a couple of seasons like this and I think the Silverstone race would be off the chopping block.  And why would I say that, well, if bernie makes money, bernie happy, race stays.......
