Au revoir D'Ambrosio, Bonjour Pic
« on: November 28, 2011, 01:09:16 PM »
It didn't take long after the checkers at Brazil for the driver merry-go-round to spin up. Marussia (formerly Virgin) announced that Frenchman Charles Pic will replace Belgian driver Jerome D'Ambrosio for the 2012 season. As of now, the team will retain Timo Glock in their other race seat.

Almost half of the grid started yesterday's Brazilian GP without a confirmed seat for next season. Any bets on who will be the next domino to fall?

Sutil to Williams in place of Rubens. Bottas will get in if Maldonado's funds get pulled at some stage.

DiResta and Hulk in at FIF1

Alguersuari to HRT to create an all Spanish squad, so Luizzi as test pilot to run his contract out

Buemi to Caterham into Trulli's seat, they like experienced pilots in the Norfolk squad - Tony said so on the F1 forum.

Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne into vacated STR seats.

Renault - anyones guess with 'Reckless' Eric at the helm.

Can't think of any more spare seats.

Renault (soon to be Lotus) is also up in the air waiting for the situation with Kubica to be resolved. How about this: They may need to find a short time replacement for Kubica, Trulli did quite well with them (won Monaco) and Caterham will want to do something with his contract. Jarno is a favorite of mine and I'd like to see him back in a half decent car.
