GPWizard Advent Competition 2011
« on: November 30, 2011, 10:04:32 AM »
Here we go again boys and girls, its that wonderful time of year when we wish joy to all mankind. The traditional GPWizard way of joining all our international members together is to all join in a fun game throughout December.

Some say.... that several members have been committed shortly after day 12 and they all now live in a padded cell in Coventry.....and that the games questions are actually written with the blood of a sacrificed lamb..... All we know for sure is its called the GPWizard Advent Competition (2011).

The Competition (Please read carefully)
Every day for the first 24 days in December a Question or Letter will be placed on the GPWizard Advent Calendar (navigation at the top of the page). Answers to the questions also represent a letter. i.e Answer = Jenson Button then the letter for the day will be either 'J' or 'B'. This will be clearly indicated on the day.

The aim is to collect 24 individual letters and rearrange them into a Christmas sentence.

Once you have the complete sentence you will need to PM me with your answer. It is in your interest not to post your answer on the site as members who have not been following the competition will all know your answer.

I will only accept answers received on 24th December.

If you miss a question or letter, then you can still try and complete the sentence, it will just be a little harder for you. There may even be a bonus letter day if you're lucky. Any questions or comments? Please post them below for all to see.

The Prize - Red Bull Racing Sebastian Vettel World Champion Cap

This is not the normal Red Bull cap but the official World Champion Winners Cap as worn by Sebastian Vettel and the team. An official product of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team. Featuring a large graphic print and official team logos.

The Rules
* One Question or letter will be placed on the advent calendar per day.
* Answers to each Question will represent a letter i.e if the answer is Jenson Button then the letter for the day will be either 'J' or 'B' as indicated on the day.
* The completed Christmas sentence must be PM to me on 24th December - all   submissions before or after this date will be dismissed.
* If more than one correct entry is received then the winner will be chosen at random. I cannot accept the first correct answer given as this would be unfair due to the different time zones.

Good luck everyone...you're going to need it!

That'll look nice right beside my Mark Webber hat.   ;)

...I think Darrell will be burning the midnight oil on this one too so he can have a hat to match his nifty front wing.   :P

.....Or, 24 days of utter confusion and despair.
Still if I have to lose my sanity it may as well be for a champions hat.  :D

2130 here in NZ and the calendar still states "Starts tomorrow" in my case that will be 2nd December!!
We are only 13 hours in front of the UKSo surely I should have been able to access it here from 1300 which would be midnight in the UK?
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!

Its always difficult having a competition across many time zones, I will be changing letters randomly between 9pm and 9am UK time so watch out!

Wizzo says, "This is too easy, perhaps this year will be different". I'm sure it will, NOT.
