Mission Impossible
« on: February 04, 2007, 12:43:37 PM »

I have had a problem for the last few weeks, a mouse. Now I love animals of all shapes and sizes but when the pesky things come into my house uninvited then thats a different matter all together.

I have tried various humane ways to capture him, ultra sonic frequency thingys to clever boxes that claim to catch the little blighter with no harm being done, and all have been unsuccessful.

So, in my frustration I decided enough is enough and purchased a traditional mouse trap, I placed a lovely piece of cheese on it and put it in a suitable location. In the morning, to my dismay the cheese was gone and the trap was still set to kill?????

This has continued for the last few evenings, so last night I set up my camera and flash to a motion sensor to give me some idea as to what is going on.

Sure enough in the morning the cheese had vanished with no signs of a struggle. I quickly picked up the camera and checked the last photo.......scroll down

Nice clean floor though, eh?  :DD

me too, while reading I was trying
to think of a plan to catch Micky

Luckily I didn't have to offer the same plan used by some friends and I about 13 years ago, we got drunk and shot at the mouse with air rifles inside the flat, eventually poor micky was taken out by a sloshed marksman.  No people were injured but ridiculous amounts of damage were caused to furniture in the stupidity........

I have grown up some-what since then..........no fear on how I treat anything anymore........except my car tyres, I am sure they were designed to corner at high speeds.........
