I think that the only purpose for the blue flag should be to warn the driver of a slower car that faster traffic is approaching. Don't make the slower car move aside, just be sure that the driver knows what's coming. If the faster driver can't get by, then let it be on his, or her, head.

That use of the blue flag I can totally agree with Cos, mail it to Bernie, you never know, he might just take note and install it in the regs for next year, silly old me, Bernie does'nt take advice from anyone.

Put it in Bernie's terms:  a slow car holding up a fast car is shown on TV.  A car on TV means that the advertising is seen, and the title sponsor might even get a mention from the commentator.

That's worth $$$, and suddenly the back marker teams have a bigger budget.
